Apple has launched 3 new smartphones this time in its annual event on September 12, 2018. Apple on Wednesday unveiled iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. XS is like a modest upgrade to last year’s iPhone X. It has a 5.8 inch display with the most powerful chip in a smartphone. When released last year iPhone X was something totally new for users with its full display, on screen fingerprint sensor. The phone is quiet similar to last year’s but it has now some key upgrades like 512 GB storage, all new A12 chipset and an enhanced display.

The other variant XS Max which is revealed alongside with XS has a gigantic display size of 6.5 inch, making it the biggest display in market, after Samsung’s flagship Note line. The screen and glass is much better when compared with iPhone X. It will be difficult to differentiate if you see both the phones in a picture since the only difference is in the size, rest all the specs are almost same for both the latest exploration of apple.

More than anything else, the most impressive tech demo this year is the new portrait mode feature, which allows you to adjust the bokeh after the shoot. It’s just fun to slide the dial left and right to get the exact right amount of blur. Both the models have got a new 12 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, primary being f1.8 and got telephoto, this will give some great impressive photo and might give good fight to the best camera of Google Pixel 2.

The XS has the same 5.8-inch size, OLED tech, and 2436 x 1125 resolution as the iPhone X, though it’s also supposed to have 60 percent greater dynamic range for more vibrant images. The XS Max takes the OLED screen and dynamic range gains and brings them to a 6.5-inch size, with a 2688 x 1242 resolution. Both have the same 458 ppi pixel density, so you don’t lose out on sharpness by going larger. It has got IP68 water resistance better than last year IP67, you can even wash your phone. It also has got better battery life 30 min more on XS and 90 min more on XS Max. It is not drastically much but still better is better. The face ID has also improved when compared with X.

Apple has launched a new colour variant with new smartphones, along with last year’s silver and space grey this time they have a new colour i.e. gold. It looks very classy. It is the only way to tell that you have the new iPhone.
